Episode 26: Bless Our Ann

Updated: Jun 28, 2020

It was a stormy summer night in 1961. The family dog barked and the children were restless. By the next morning, 8 year old Ann Marie Burr was nowhere to be found. In this episode, Alisha tells Emily the riveting tale of a missing child from Tacoma, Washington and how her disappearance could now be connected to one of the most notorious serial killers in American history. Best-Selling author Rebecca Morris joins Murder in the Rain to talk about her research on this story and her book, Ted and Ann: The Mystery of a Missing Child and Her Neighbor Ted Bundy.

I started listening to Murder in the Rain a couple months ago. First of all, your bloopers are great, makes me laugh everytime. About this case one thing that has really stuck with me is why hasn’t the spot where the young boy was seen patting the dirt down never dug up?
